Great artists are larger than life!

Jan Pezarro is a writer, award-winning marketer, and cancer survivor living in West Vancouver, British Columbia. She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from the University of King’s College. Her marketing campaigns have appeared in print, radio, TV, and outdoor media. Her writing been published in The Globe and Mail, Vancouver Sun, and Newsweek, and in anthologies and trade publications, including Chicken Soup for the Soul and Brevity. Timebomb is her debut book.

Forged by 15 years as a ballet dancer, an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and graduate studies in business administration, Jan enjoyed a long and successful career as a marketing and communications specialist. In the span of thirty years, she rose from marketing assistant to senior executive positions, including Vice President, President, CEO, and COO, and eventually launched her own consulting company. In 2016, she joined the ranks of the two in five Canadians diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and started a new chapter.
